Connect Nordea for read-only account and transaction visibility.

Omadata uses Nordea's PSD2 consent flow so you can authorize read-only access to your accounts, balances, and transactions. Omadata never initiates payments or moves money.

How connection works

  1. 1Sign in to Omadata and verify your email.
  2. 2Accept the integration data access terms and complete MFA step-up before connecting banking data.
  3. 3Open Flows and choose the Nordea bank feed.
  4. 4Omadata redirects you to Nordea's consent screen. Sign in there and grant read-only access to the accounts you choose.
  5. 5Nordea returns to Omadata with an authorization code. Omadata exchanges it for encrypted access and refresh tokens.
  6. 6Omadata syncs your accounts, balances, and transactions on the cadence you configure in Flows.
  7. 7You can disconnect Nordea from Omadata at any time. This stops new syncs and clears all stored Nordea credentials.

What Omadata reads from Nordea

When you authorize a Nordea connection, Omadata requests the following scopes:

  • accounts.read — account identifiers and metadata for accounts you select
  • balances.read — available and booked balance for each authorized account
  • transactions.read — transaction history for authorized accounts

Omadata does not request access to payment initiation, card management, or standing order controls.

Sync cadence and data ownership

You choose how often Omadata fetches new data from Nordea when you set up the Flows feed. Nordea remains the master system for all account and transaction data.

Data Omadata stores: normalized transaction records, account summaries, and balance snapshots. Raw Nordea API responses are not retained beyond the processing window.

Disconnecting Nordea stops all new syncs. Existing records within Omadata are subject to the data retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
